MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - The trial of a Mason City man accused of stabbing five people at a bar last year has again been postponed.
Station KGLO reports that trial for 39-year-old Raul Arias was supposed to begin Feb. 12, but court records show the judge in the case approved a motion to push back the trial. It’s now set to begin March 26.
Aria is charged with five counts of willful injury causing serious injury. Each charge carries up to 10 years in prison.
