VILLAGE OF PEWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) - Police in southeastern Wisconsin have arrested a person in connection with a suspicious death in an apartment complex.
The Village of Pewaukee Police Department said Saturday that the person was taken into custody on suspicion of homicide. The Police Department said on its Facebook page that the suspect’s name will be released once formal charges are filed. The name of the victim also will be released then.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports police received a call for a welfare check on Thursday night. That led to a suspicious death investigation.
Police say the public is not in danger.
