CLAYTON, N.C. (AP) - Authorities in North Carolina say a 15-year-old boy was killed and another man was injured in a drive-by shooting.
Capt. Jeff Caldwell with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office tells WRAL the shooting happened around 1 a.m. Saturday. He says the victims were outside an apartment complex in Clayton.
Officials found the 15-year-old dead at the scene, and a 20-year-old was taken to a hospital.
Investigators say they think the victims knew the suspects, who were believed to be driving a beige-color Chevy Tahoe with front-end damage.
