AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine say they believe they have identified the body of a woman whose remains were discovered in the state’s capital city.
State police said Wednesday that the woman is likely 54-year-old Joan Hadley of Windsor.
Police say local fire and police departments responded to a call from property managers in a five-unit apartment complex in Augusta where the body was found Tuesday morning.
Police say there was no obvious signs of foul play and that she likely died in the past two weeks.
