MODESTO, Calif. (AP) - One person has been arrested after a drug lab exploded, damaging a Modesto home.
Authorities say a butane hash oil lab exploded Thursday in the backyard shed of the house. Firefighters were able to contain the fire and there were no injuries. Police say they found more than 100 pounds of marijuana along with drug-laced edibles and concentrated doses of THC, the active ingredient in cannabis. Police on Friday arrested the suspected drug manufacturer after he turned himself in. His girlfriend is still being sought.
