GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say an 11-year-old girl was behind the wheel when a sport utility vehicle crashed into a house in Grand Forks.

A 7-year-old girl and a man suffered minor injuries.

Police say the crash happened Saturday afternoon. The preliminary investigation shows the Chevrolet Tahoe went over a curb on the 500 block of 4th Avenue South and hit two trees and the house. The driver’s father was in the SUV and was cited for allowing an unqualified operator.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
