FALLON, Nev. (AP) - Churchill County authorities say a 2-year-old boy reported missing in the Fallon area was found dead in an irrigation canal Monday night.
The Sheriff’s Office say the boy’s body was found about a half-hour after police officers, firefighters, friends and family members of the boy began searching.
Efforts to revive the boy weren’t successful.
His identity wasn’t released.
Fallon is 55 miles (90 kilometers) east of Reno.
