PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this month in south Phoenix.
They say 20-year-old Richard Lee Chambers is being held on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Phoenix police say Chambers allegedly shot 21-year-old Adrian Reyes Valdez Avila at an apartment complex on July 9.
They say Avila was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It was unclear Tuesday if Chambers has a lawyer yet.
