NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - An arrest has been made in connection with a hit and run crash in March that left a Connecticut woman dead.
Police in North Haven say 40-year-old Mark Rubino was taken into custody on Friday following a lengthy investigation. Rubino is being held on $500,000 bond on several charges including evasion of responsibility in operating a motor vehicle causing death.
Investigators said 62-year-old Maureen Munzner was walking with her two sons near her North Haven home on March 11 when she was struck and killed by a car that did not stop after the crash.
It was not immediately known if Rubino, who is from Meriden, Connecticut, has legal representation.
