PLAINVILLE, Mass. (AP) - An elderly couple has died following a two-vehicle crash in Plainville.
Police say it happened Monday afternoon when a man driving a car tried to turn around on Taunton Street and collided with a van that was traveling behind the car.
The man and his wife died after being taken to area hospitals. The Norfolk District Attorney’s office identifies them as 86-year-old Ralph Lanciano and 93-year-old Josephine McAllister-Lanciano.
Police say two people in the van were treated at hospitals with injuries and later released.
The crash remains under investigation.
