MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Ethan Richardson, who played last season at Fresno City College, has signed to play for West Virginia.

West Virginia coach Bob Huggins announced Richardson’s signing Monday. The 6-foot-10, 245-pound forward from Madera, California, will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Richardson averaged 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds last season, helping Fresno City College to a 28-4 record.

He attended City College of San Francisco as a freshman, averaging 11.9 points and 5.4 rebounds.

Huggins said Richardson should fit in well as the team plans to return to an up-tempo style.
