PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a nail salon worker who was shot during a robbery has died.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson says 45-year-old Dung Tang succumbed to his injuries Thursday.

The shooting is now considered a homicide. No suspect has been identified.



According to investigators, an unknown man entered a nail salon near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road on Wednesday morning.

Tang and a 47-year-old female employee were there when police say a suspect shot Tang and then fled.

Tang was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The woman was uninjured.
