PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a building in Philadelphia’s Center City that houses a preschool has been evacuated due to structural problems.

Police and fire crews responded to the Eurokids Learning Center shortly before 11 a.m. Monday on a report of an explosion.

Arriving police and fire officials determined that what had occurred wasn’t an explosion but structural damage due to beams under the floor shifting.

About 20 juveniles were evacuated and no injuries were reported. The city department of licenses and inspection was notified.
