PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (AP) - The management of a northern Maine mall has confirmed it has been sold to an undisclosed buyer.

The Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle confirmed Sunday it had been sold for about $4.65 million, and the online auction website Ten-X posted over the weekend that escrow had closed on the mall, meaning it has been sold. The Bangor Daily News reports mall manager Frederick Meno confirmed the sale, but provided no additional details.

The mall, which was listed for sale on the Ten-X website in mid-December, was for sale at a best-offer price. The mall previously went up for auction in October 2017, but received no interested buyers.
