PERRY, Ga. (AP) - A woman has pleaded guilty to lesser charges in a 2017 killing at a Georgia motel.
The Macon Telegraph reported 21-year-old Kendra Tenesha Tillery of Warner Robins pleaded guilty to attempted armed robbery in the death.
Tillery had been facing a murder charge in the shooting death of 34-year-old Donell Nathaniel Hawkins. She was sentenced to 30 years in prison, the maximum sentence on the charge.
Prosecutors dropped the murder charge and also a charge of aggravated assault.
Two other people already had been sentenced to life in prison without parole in Hawkins’ death.
Twenty-one-year-old Malik Qran Golden and 20-year-old Willie Walters III of Perry had been convicted previously.
Tillery had been accused of luring Hawkins into a position for Golden to shoot him.
