Man killed by his own pickup after he gets out on highway

CANTON, Mass. (AP) - Police say a man who got out of his pickup truck on a highway south of Boston was hit by his own vehicle and fatally injured.

Massachusetts State Police said in a statement that it was not clear why the 72-year-old man exited the vehicle on Route 95 in Canton. They are investigating.

A highway ramp was closed for a few hours Sunday because of the crash.
