NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Two men have pleaded not guilty to capital murder and aggravated robbery charges in connection with a fatal shooting of an airman at an Arkansas gas station.
Little Rock television station KTHV reported Tuesday that a North Little Rock judge ordered 18-year-old Keith Harris Jr. and 18-year-old Drequan Robinson be held with no bond.
The men were arrested for the Friday night killing of 23-year-old Shawn Mckeough Jr., a senior airman stationed at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that Mckeough, who was from Westbrook, Maine, appeared to have tried to tackle one of the men before he was shot.
Police say investigators believe Harris was a passenger in a getaway vehicle. A third suspect seen on surveillance footage has not yet been arrested.
