BALTIMORE (AP) - Police say a man accused of killing his uncle and wounding his aunt in a shooting near Washington has been arrested after driving a golf cart to a hospital.
News outlets report 20-year-old Osman Kalokoh was arrested Tuesday in Baltimore. WTOP-FM quotes Baltimore police detective Nicole Monroe as saying officers were called to the hospital after Kalokoh refused to provide his personal information.
Officers learned he was wanted in Prince George’s County on murder and attempted murder charges. The golf cart was stolen from apartments near the hospital.
Police say Kalokoh’s uncle, 69-year-old Alee Calokoh, and his wife were found shot at a home in Lanham. He died at the scene, and she was hospitalized. Investigators say the shooting escalated from an argument.
It’s unclear if Kalokoh has a lawyer who could comment.
