NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island man is facing homicide charges in the stabbing death of his 70-year-old father.
North Providence police say they went to the family’s home at about 5 p.m. Tuesday after getting a call from a woman who said she found the victim unresponsive on the floor.
Responding officers forced their way into the home and found 70-year-old Clark Murray Sr. dead of an apparent stab wound as well as 40-year-old Clark Murray Jr. injured with apparently self-inflicted stab wounds.
The son was taken to the hospital. Police say he faces a domestic homicide charge.
His case was not listed in online court records and it’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
