UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Maryland authorities say a sixth suspect has been charged in the gang-related killing of a 16-year-old boy.

Prince Georges County police say 26-year-old Jose Ortega Ayala of Greenbelt was taken into custody Wednesday in Arlington, Virginia. Ayala is charged with first-degree murder and other crimes in the killing of Jacson Pineda-Chicas of Falls Church, Virginia.

Other suspects in the killing are 29-year-old Jose Ordonez-Zometa, 20-year-old Jonathan Castillo-Rivera, 18-year-old Kevin Rodriguez-Flores, 16-year-old Christian Martinez-Ramirez and 25-year-old Jose Hernandez-Garcia. All are charged as adults.

Authorities say the victim and the suspects are members of an MS-13 clique operating in Fairfax County, Virginia. They say Pineda-Chicas was ambushed at a group meeting and stabbed some 100 times before his body was dumped along a roadside in Stafford County, Virginia, and set on fire.
