WASHINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina say a man attempting to rob a vape shop was shot and killed by a shop worker.
Washington police tell news outlets that officers responding to a call of shots fired and an armed robbery early Monday found 42-year-old Grant Waters of Rocky Mount had been shot by an unidentified shop employee, who they said had a concealed weapons permit.
According to police, Waters died at the scene. No other details were provided.
Authorities say an investigation into the incident is continuing.
