SPANAWAY, Wash. (AP) - Police say a 52-year-old man was shot and killed by his brother while the men worked at a construction site south of Tacoma in Spanaway.

The News Tribune reports deputies were called Tuesday afternoon after witnesses reported the incident.

Officials on Wednesday identified the man shot as Thomas Johnson. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say his older brother initially fled but later turned himself in to police at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Investigators say the man’s 58-year-old brother shot him to death during an argument.

The older brother was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.
