CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina say they’ve charged a man in a 2008 quadruple slaying.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police announced Thursday that 32-year-old Dominick Daise was charged with four counts of murder. Police say Daise was identified through the cold case unit’s continued investigation.
Police say three men and a woman were found dead in a Charlotte apartment on March 24, 2008. They were identified as 33-year-old Timothy Stone, 46-year-old William Royster, 43-year-old Andrew Babyak and 31-year-old Cherilyn Crawford. The Charlotte Observer reports that Royster lived in the apartment, Stone was from New York and Babyak and Crawford were believed to be from South Carolina.
Maj. Cam Selvey says police believe Daise didn’t act alone and asked anyone with information to come forward. It’s not clear if Daise has an attorney.
