UNITY, Maine (AP) - Last but not least, the smallest of the University of Maine system campuses is holding its commencement.

The University of Maine at Machias, which has 580 full-time students, is holding its 108th commencement on Sunday, a day after the other six campuses in the system.

Passamaquoddy Language Teacher Dwayne Tomah is the keynote speaker.

The commencement is being held Sunday so Joan Ferrini-Mundy can attend. She serves as president of both the University of Maine, which held its commencement on Saturday, and the University of Maine at Machias.

There are more commencements to come. The state’s private colleges including Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, College of the Atlantic and University of New England will hold ceremonies in coming weeks.
