SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Scottsdale say they’re investigating the death of a woman and the victim’s daughter is a suspect.
They say a woman in her 40s told officers Monday that she killed her mother, who is in her 70s.
Officers entered the apartment and found the victim dead on a bed.
Police believe the woman was suffocated and they’re investigating the case as a homicide.
The name of the dead woman and her daughter haven’t been released yet.
Police say the mother and daughter lived together and have a history of domestic violence.
The daughter was questioned by detectives and taken into custody.
