CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man’s been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Court documents say a state trooper stopped a car on Interstate 93 in Canterbury in April 2018 for a minor traffic infraction. The trooper conducted a pat-down search of Randy Barton, of Loudon, a passenger, and found two plastic baggies containing methamphetamine.

Barton previously pleaded guilty in federal court in October. The driver of the car, Katie-Jo Waters, was sentenced last month to six years in prison.
