PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - Police in Rhode Island say two people have been stabbed in a Pawtucket home and a third person is under arrest.

Detective Sgt. Christopher LeFort says officers responded to the home at about 10:40 p.m. Thursday and found a man and a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police found 24-year-old man outside who had been stabbed several times in the face, head, neck, arms and hands.

Officers found a 52-year-old woman lying on the floor inside with several stab wounds.

They were both taken to the hospital.

Police say 54-year-old Daniel Greene was found in another room and charged with two counts of domestic assault. He was also taken to the hospital and will be arraigned when he is released.
