PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a 48-year-old man has been found dead in a backyard pool in Phoenix.
Phoenix Fire Department officials say crews were dispatched to a home near Interstate 17 and Dunlap Avenue about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
They reported finding the man unresponsive in the pool and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Phoenix police say it’s unclear how long the man was in the pool and there were no initial signs of foul play.
The name of the man hasn’t been released yet.
Police say an investigation into the death is underway.
