TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say they have found the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in which a tow truck driver was killed.
Police say in a news release on Monday that a 2004 white Cadillac Escalade was located at Maryland Route 3 and Route 175 in Gambrills in Anne Arundel County on Sunday. The identity of the driver is pending further investigation.
Investigators say 63-year-old David Reinerio Pineda Alvarez was walking toward his truck to load a disabled vehicle last Wednesday when another car hit him in Temple Hills. Alvarez was pronounced dead at the scene.
