BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado man has pleaded guilty to killing a 6-year-old boy he accidentally struck with a car.

Summit Daily reports 20-year-old Mauricio Lozano Gonzalez pleaded guilty Tuesday to careless driving resulting in a death.

A Summit County judge has sentenced Lozano Gonzalez to serve 60 days in jail.

Authorities say Lozano Gonzalez was driving through a Breckenridge mobile home park in April when he struck the boy who lived in the park.

Authorities say that after the collision Lozano Gonzalez helped drive the child and members of his family to St. Anthony Summit Medical Center.

Gonzalez also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid license. Officials say he had a valid license but accepted the charge as part of a plea agreement.
