MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities have confirmed the identity of human remains found last week during the search for a Tennessee teen who vanished in 2017.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office told news outlets on Monday that medical examiners identified the human remains as missing 16-year-old Devin Bond. Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh said no foul play was suspected in the teen’s death.

The remains were found near the Barfield Crescent Park in Murfreesboro in a heavily wooded area.

The park was the last place Bond’s cellphone was used.
