WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) - Vermont authorities are searching for a man who has been missing since his fiancée was found dead.

Winooski Police Chief Rick Hebert says 32-year-old Keith Gaston has been a person of interest for investigators since 28-year-old Hannah Keyes was found dead Saturday in the couple’s home.

Police had marked her death as suspicious but Vermont’s Chief Medical Examiner’s Office could not determine the cause or manner of death following an autopsy.

Police did not identify any markings on Keyes’ body and are awaiting toxicology results.

Authorities have applied for search warrants to go through phones and other electronic gear seized from an apartment where the couple lived with their two young daughters.

Police say there has been no activity on Gaston’s cellphone or credit card since the weekend.
