MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A Minot man has been sent to prison for three years for stealing a Bobcat skid-steer loader from the Ward County Highway Department.
Thirty-year-old Michael Schell must also serve three years of probation and pay more than $1,100 in court costs for stealing the skid steer valued at $80,000 last January.
Minot Daily News says investigators sent a cigarette butt and vape with a cartridge found in the skid steer the North Dakota State Crime Lab. DNA evidence led them to Schell.
