PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a 4-year-old girl was critically injured in a fall from a second-floor window in Philadelphia.

Police say the girl landed on some chairs after tumbling from the window north of the city center just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say she had multiple facial injuries and was taken by police to Jefferson University Hospital, from which she was to be transported to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
