MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a 64-year-old bicyclist.

Nassau County police say Joseph Harrison, of Williston Park, was riding his bicycle on Mineola Boulevard in Mineola just after midnight last Wednesday when he was struck and killed by an SUV that fled the scene.

Police on Wednesday described the SUV as a 2006-to-2008 four-door Infinity, possibly silver or gray, with front end damage.
