SHALIMAR, Fla. (AP) - Florida authorities say a drive-by shooting took place in front of a home while a child’s birthday party was being celebrated in the backyard.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting took place Saturday afternoon, injuring one.
Several cars were struck by bullets. The injured individual was taken to a hospital.
The sheriff’s office didn’t identify the injured individual or say whether he or she was participating in the birthday party.
