SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - In a story Sept. 12 about the Illinois state budget, The Associated Press reported that Gov. J.B. Pritzker had asked his cabinet agencies to prepare for significant spending cuts in next year’s budget. Pritzker’s budget office asked agencies to prepare spending-cut scenarios so that Pritzker could assess their impacts in case reductions are necessary.
