CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gas prices are still on the decline in northern New England.

The latest GasBuddy price reports show Maine’s prices fell 2.5 cents per gallon in the last week, bringing the average to $2.55. New Hampshire prices dropped 1.4 cents per gallon, averaging $2.51. Vermont’s price went down just under a penny, to $2.63 a gallon.

The national average is $2.56 per gallon. That’s down 14.6 cents from a month ago, and 26.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
