DERRY, N.H. (AP) - Police say an 11-year-old boy has been hospitalized after he was hit by a car while walking home from his bus stop in New Hampshire.
WMUR-TV reports police in Derry are investigating. They said the boy, who was crossing the street, was alert and able to speak when they arrived Wednesday. His name wasn’t released.
Police said the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating. They are not sure whether the child was walking alone, or with other children or parents.
