PARKERTOWN TOWNSHIP, Maine (AP) - Three missing Maine anglers have been rescued after spending a night in a stranded vehicle in a remote part of Oxford County.

A Maine Game warden pilot spotted the missing trio on Thursday near Azischos Lake, the Sun Journal reported.

Samuel Luebbert, Jessica Haskell and Chad Mason, all 23-years-old and from Portland, were reported overdue Thursday by family, according to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife.

The group’s vehicle was stuck in a section of unplowed snow on Lincoln Pond Road, Mark Latti, MDIFW communications director wrote in a press release.

Game Warden Mike Pierre and four U.S. Border Patrol agents helped pull the truck free. All three men were in good health and were able to drive back to Portland Thursday afternoon, Latti wrote.
