WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - A man who was shot in southeast Wichita has died from his injuries, police said.
Miguel Tapia, 27, of Wichita, was found wounded, lying outside a sport utility vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
Investigators believe Tapia was inside the vehicle when a fight broke out and he was shot. Tapia was rushed to a Wichita hospital, but later died of his injuries.

Police said they believe Tapia was targeted in the shooting, but had not released by Tuesday morning any information on a suspect or whether any arrests in the shooting had been made.
