HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Two adults were killed and a baby was injured in a collision between a car and an Amtrak train in Mississippi.
Hattiesburg Police Department spokesman Ryan Moore said the accident happened Saturday night. Those killed or injured were in the Nissan Altima. The baby was taken to a local hospital.
Forrest County deputy coroner Lisa Klem told the Hattiesburg American on Monday that those killed were 21-year-old Adrian Cox and 19-year-old and Lexiana Gholar. Both lived in Hattiesburg.
Information about the baby’s condition was not immediately available.
