WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - The death of a man whose body was found frozen in ice doesn’t appear to be a criminal act, West Des Moines police said Friday.
Investigators identified the man Friday as Yohanes Gebrehiwot, 42, of Des Moines. He was reported missing on Feb. 13.
His body was found Tuesday in a ditch along a road that runs parallel to Interstate 80.
Police are working with the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
