PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was fatally shot at a party in Phoenix.

Police say 29-year-old Fausto Galindo-Gonzalez was at the party around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

They say a 23-year-old Jose Sanchez-Gamboa mishandled Galindo-Gonzalez’s gun before it was accidentally fired.

Sanchez-Gamboa was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested and booked Galindo-Gonzalez into jail on suspicion of manslaughter and being a prohibited possessor of a gun.

It was unclear Sunday if Galindo-Gonzalez has a lawyer yet who can speak on his behalf about the case.
