CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The Kanawha County Public Library will relocate to Charleston mall this summer as its downtown building undergoes renovations, officials said Tuesday.

The library will set up shop on the second level of the Charleston Town Center by early summer, according to a news release.

Renovations to the library’s downtown Charleston location is expected to take around two years to complete and cost $31.8 million.



A closing date for the main library and the library’s move to the mall will be announced soon, officials said.
