Dozens of cars vandalized in Los Angeles suburb

WHITTIER, Calif. (AP) - Dozens of cars were vandalized in a Los Angeles suburb by someone possibly using a pellet or BB gun to shoot out windows.

The vandalism began Thursday night in Whittier and police were still counting the damage early Friday, KNBC-TV reported.

Citizens flooded police with damage reports starting around 10 p.m.

Three people standing outdoors were also targeted but will be OK, KNBC said.
