ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - One person is dead after what police in Albuquerque said was a crash possibly related to street racing.
The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday on the city’s west side. A second person was hospitalized,
Police said in a news release that witnesses saw two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed just before the crash. They believe the drivers may have been racing.
In another traffic incident Saturday night, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and and seriously injured.
The names of those killed and injured have not been released, Police continue to investigate both crashes.
