KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police in Kansas City are looking for leads in the shooting death of a man in Kansas City.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on the southwestern side of the city, police said in a news release. Officers responding to reports of the shooting found found a man on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police have not released the victim’s name.
Police said witnesses told investigators they heard shots and saw a vehicle speed away from the area.
