ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Elko County sheriff’s deputies have arrested an 18-year-old suspect in the death of a teenage girl whose body was found three days after she was last seen getting into a pickup at Spring Creek High School.

Bryce Dickey of Spring Creek was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of open murder in the death of 16-year-old Gabrielle (Britney) Lynn Ujlaky, according to the Elko Daily Free Press.

Ujlaky was last seen at about 4 p.m. on March 8 getting into a green pickup at the high school southeast of Elko. Her body was found March 11 in an area between Spring Creek and Elko.

Dickey was arrested as a result of an investigation by a task force led by the Elko County Sheriff’s Office, which is continuing to do follow-up in the case.

Jail records indicate no bail has been set for Dickey and don’t list a lawyer for him.
