PHOENIX (AP) - A suspect is in custody in connection with a fatal shooting in Phoenix last weekend, according to police.
They said 33-year-old Robert Crow has been booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
It was unclear Monday if Crow has a lawyer yet.
Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting early in front of a Phoenix home last Saturday morning.
They found a man with a shotgun wound and he was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The man died at the hospital and police identified him as 39-year-old Christopher Salles.
Police said detectives developed probable cause to arrest Crow, who allegedly admitted to shooting Salles while they were working.
A possible motive for the fatal shooting hasn’t been released by police yet.
